Canadian Parking Equipment Ltd., American Parking Equipment Inc. CPE\APE is headquartered in Mississauga Ontario Canada.  An area well known as the technological heart of Canadian manufacturing, Mississauga provides CPE\APE with the required mix of skilled employees and hi-tech suppliers necessary to compete in a global market.

As one of the few privately owned manufacturers in the industry, CPE\APE has the added advantage of being wholly owned by the current management team.  The benefits of this structure include the flexibility to place customer  satisfaction before quarterly results.

Markets

CPE\APE products are available globally through an expanding dealer network and through direct sales in Toronto, Montreal, Edmonton, and Vancouver.  CPE continues to make significant headway in export markets such as China, South Asia, South and Central America and most recently Mexico.  Recent shifts in these economies have resulted in  significant increases in  parking congestion.  In these markets Canadian Parking Equipment has successfully leveraged Canada’s excellent reputation for advanced technology and cooperation, in forging active partnerships with leading local integrators.

The American Parking Equipment Inc. brand continues to strengthen through growth of its direct and integrator sales channels.  Product line expansion has provided US integrators with a variety of additional products to offer their existing customers, while attracting new end users and dealers in segments outside of the typical scope of parking revenue control suppliers.

Targeted vertical markets for CPE\APE products include hotels, airports, universities, parking operators, manufacturing, food production, hospitals, municipalities, casinos and many others.

Resource materials are also made readily available to consultants, architects and engineers to promote the specification of CPE/APE product.

State of the art smart card pay on foot and centralized cashiering systems have set the new standard for high end parking revenue control.  These systems offer unparallel technology to deliver significant advantages through decreased operating cost and greater uptime.

Traditional bar code and magnetic stripe systems are also available in the exit lane cashier and centralized cashier configurations.  The unique offline capabilities of the ETM series of ticket dispensers in conjunction with the scalable PG4 fee computer, provide customers with a flexible cost effective method of quickly servicing parking customers.

The low cost entry level system market continues to show strong demand.   To meet this requirement CPE\APE continues to offer the trusted mechanical time and date stamp TD249 ticket dispenser.  Pairing the TD249 with the PG4 fee computer provides affordable and uncompromising audit control.

Vehicle Access Control

In today's environment of heightened security awareness, increasing numbers of government and manufacturing sites have included vehicle access control as a component of  total facility security.  CPE/APE manufactures and distributes a range of gates suitable for the most high security requirements.    From the traditional G89E to more secure aluminum arm gates, lane span coverage is available up to an industry record 46 feet (14m).

Unique specialized products such as rising and folding fence barriers, mechanical and hydraulic rising road blockers are also seeing an increase in demand.
