MLG-29 Industrial Barrier

The electrically operated barrier type MLG29 was specially designed to control medium sized vehicle access. (3m\9.8ft to 9m\29.5 ft). Its built-in spring loaded balance makes it a robust heavy duty barrier for industry, garage, warehouse, bridge entrances, etc ...

 

 

DESCRIPTION

  • 3mm thick folded and welded sheet steel housing with steel profile frame strongly welded
  • Removable upper cover, locked from inside.
  • Side door for easy access to internal mechanism, with security lock
  • Arm made of extruded aluminum tube white enamelled with red reflecting stripes. The arm consists of 2 or 3 sections, depending on length, of decreasing diameter with end cap. Standard arms are always fitted on the left side of the cabinet.
  • Stainless steel stays with tighteners (see overleaf) for arms of 7m\23 ft or more, or 6m\19.7 ft. with options as above.
  • 1/3 Horse power electrical motor. 
    • instant reversing motor
    • worm screw speed reduction gearbox, life-lubricated,
    • pulleys and V-belt drive allowing for adjustment in the speed of operation depending on arm length,
    • crankshaft-rod transmission of movements to facilitate smooth progressive acceleration and deceleration, ensuring the mechanical arm locks at both end positions.
    • safe passage ensured by a Ferodo disk adjustable friction torque with built-in wear compensation,
    • adjustable cam operated limit switches. 
  • Arm balanced by built-in spring assembly, which avoids any risk of accident to persons, due to the limited number of moving parts directly accessible to the persons on the outside of the housing.
  • PLC logic control 12 IO (20 IO optional) for automatic closing by vehicle detector (not included, see "Options") with: changeover contactors, thermal overload protection, general connection block and test rocker switches. The barrier is supplied with one push button box (open - close - stop).
  • Built-in heater to avoid condensation caused by high temperature variations.
  • Emergency crank allowing manual operation of the barrier in case of power failure, with safety switch which cuts off electrical power for as long as the handle is not removed from the barrier.
  • 11.Tip support for arm length over 5m \16 ft (optional for arm support up to 5m\16 ft).
  • 12.Ground fixing frame consisting of a sealing plate with threaded rods and fixing brackets.
