RLG-46 Long Arm Industrial Barrier

The rising barrier type RLG46 with electric control, has been specially designed to control access of vehicles to large areas. Its precise balance, achieved by means of an integrated compression spring, permits a span of up to a maximum of 14m\46ft.

DESCRIPTION 

• Housing made of heavy gauge steel sheet of 3 mm thickness, welded and shaped, with a framework of steel profiles welded into a strong section.
• Removable upper hood, locked from inside.
• Lateral doors with safety locks, ensuring easy access to the internal mechanism.
• Boom made of extruded aluminum tubing, white enameled with red reflecting stripes. The boom is composed of three sleeves of decreasing diameter with an end sealing cap.
• Bracing wires and adjustable stretchers in stainless steel. The number of wires varies from 2 to 4,according to the length of the boom.
• Electro-mechanical assembly comprising:
• 120V motor,
• life-lubricated speed reduction gearbox, ratio of reduction: 100/1,
• gearbox driven by pulley and V-belt, allowing to adapt the operating speed in accordance with the length of the boom,
• crankshaft/rod device ensuring progressive, shock less movements as well as mechanical locking of the boom in extreme positions,
• safe passage is assured by an adjustable safety friction torque, regulated by Ferodo disks and self adjusting device for wear taking up,
• llimit switches activated by adjustable cams.

• Balance of the boom achieved by means of compression spring, eliminating all risk of accident to people, thanks to the limited number of movable parts to which the general public have access.
• Electrical control board type PLC on a printed circuit remote controlled by a 3-push button box (open - stop - closed) supplied with the barrier.
• Built-in heater for low temperature locations.
• Emergency crank for manual operation in the event of power failure, with safety circuit breaker cutting the electrical power supply, providing the crank has not been removed from the barrier.
• Adjustable tip-support.
• Embedded framework composed of a fixing template with threaded rods and fixing claws.
